ABOUT THE AUTHOR · A KINDER WORLD IS A POSSIBLE WORLD

Designer · Creator · Leader · Explorer · Visionary · Igniter

DCLXVI is the author identity of Veeramachineni Mohan Kumar.

Trained in both the built environment and industrial design, Mohan holds a degree in Architecture and a Master's degree in Industrial Design. His practice has grown beyond conventional design into research, systems, human development, and the exploration of how environments, objects and ideas shape the way people live.

Alongside his design background, he has pursued complementary healing disciplines. He is a trained Level II Reiki practitioner and has undertaken advanced study in acupuncture, including an MD in Acupuncture.

Rather than separating body, mind, environment and society into isolated subjects, his work increasingly explores the connections between them.

He does not see disciplines as destinations. He sees them as different doors into the same question: how do we live better?

Design & systems in practice

Design and systems can be seen through initiatives such as SUML, ULNOKKU, and PEZA Codex. These projects reflect his interest in building experiences, platforms and systems that connect life, design and human possibility.

Author's note

Architecture taught me to understand space.

Industrial design taught me to understand objects.

Healing taught me to pay attention to the human being inside both.

The next journey is to understand life itself — not as separate disciplines, but as one connected system.
